Thought Logic leads complex Testing/QA activities that allow for a successful, on-time, quality product release

Business Challenge

A large media company is developing a new gaming product that leverages their entertainment properties for the various titles. Timelines are tight to hit development milestones, in order to launch release of the product in time for the retail holiday season. Many internal employees as well as consultants are involved in the program, often with completing interests. Much time has been spent on overall game development and sales/marketing strategy, but minimal time was allotted for QA/testing work to ensure the product worked flawlessly and that it performed up to consumer expectations.

Response

The Thought Logic team was added to lead the testing, QA, and defect management activities to support product release. This effort involved leading a team of 15 resources made up of both clients and other consultancies, to work through the testing effort above and beyond their regular jobs. The client did not have an existing methodology in place to manage issues or defects, so Thought Logic implemented a workable solution in a rapid timeframe that enabled the teams to successfully work through identifying, capturing, and managing all issues and defect through resolution. The testing workstream was completed on time to support the product release.
