Program and Project Leadership: Beverage Distribution
Assessed and implemented strategies that enhance and restructure enterprise-wide PMO processes.
The IT PMO, Executive Leadership and the CIO were seeking recommendations on creating new processes as the PMO was transitioning to a new leader. Heavy administration reduced Project Managers’ ability and time to effectively and strategically manage projects. The PMO lacked a centralized and standardized approach to project frameworks, methodologies, and governance. All project portfolio reporting was conducted manually and ad-hoc.
Thought Logic assessed the PMO, interviewed leaders across both the Business and IT organizations, and developed strategic recommendations. Based on those recommendations, the team created and implemented:
- A centrally managed project portfolio, RAID, and data tracking tool.
- Standardized project frameworks and processes to apply across all project types.
- Centralized and standardized project and program reports and dashboards to be leveraged by executive leadership to assess the organization’s performance.
