Business Process Management: Manufacturing – Agile Transformation
Thought Logic engaged to lead a program-level SAFe Transformation.
At a leading global manufacturing and commercial product company, the Data and Analytics program was being managed using a mixture of project management methodologies – legacy waterfall, SCRUM, and partially implemented SAFe practices . The client had attempted an internal transformation initiative to align all teams within the program to single methodology., but it lacked the necessary resources and experience. Thought Logic was engaged to assess the current state of the organization’s people, processes, and technologies.
Our team build out a roadmap to achieve the desired future state and execute the SAFe transformation for all the teams in the program. Activities included: current state assessment of process, technologies, and organizational maturity; future state design and validation; ad-hoc SAFe coaching; implementation of SAFe principles and successful execution of first two Program Increments from an Agile coach and Release Train Engineer (RTE) standpoint; definition of metrics and KPIs to measure program health.
