Business Challenge
A large investment management firm understood the need to effectively manage and track the execution of a substantial merger in order to fully realize the $475M+ synergies identified. The client lacked the expertise and capacity to integrate the firms’ financial systems and processes, as well as efficiently manage and track the execution of its future organizational design.
Response
Our team members partnered with the client’s HR and Finance leaders to manage the execution of the organizational design process for 30+ reporting groups, including the migration of HR data and synergy / benefits realization tracking. Our team also prepared an interaction model and plan to effectively transition activities to the client’s shared service centers. In addition, we focused on integration of financial systems and process, including an assessment of capital investments in technology.
