As the Managing Director of Capabilities at Thought Logic, Spencer Baker brings over two decades of experience leading and managing strategic teams through effective business and digital transformations for global market leaders. In his current role, Spencer is responsible for guiding the company’s capabilities strategy and ensuring alignment with clients’ business objectives.
With a strong focus on client partnerships, Spencer is well-equipped to help clients navigate their most pressing challenges and drive desired business outcomes. He has developed his expertise from a wide range of leadership and consulting positions in both the private and public sectors, including combat Army Aviation units, airline strategic initiatives, healthcare transformations, and key programs across various industries, including automotive, financial technology, human resources, and sales organizations.
Throughout his career, Spencer has collaborated closely with global enterprise teams to deliver business objectives through technology investments, business process improvements, and strategy alignment. His exceptional leadership skills and deep understanding of complex business environments have enabled him to establish strong relationships with clients and deliver successful outcomes.
Spencer earned his BS from the United States Military Academy at West Point and his MS from the University of Texas at Austin. He is an active volunteer with several local non-profit organizations and resides in Atlanta with his wife and two daughters. As a Managing Director of Capabilities, Spencer is committed to delivering innovative solutions that drive meaningful business value for clients.

Bryant Griffith, Data & Analytics Leader for Thought Logic, brings 15+ years of data strategy, advanced analytics, business strategy, program management, information technology, and process automation. In his role, he is responsible for advising clients on data and automation strategy while leading our data teams to deliver high-quality work. Bryant is passionate about helping clients from design to delivery around data-informed solutions and automation. Bryant has a proven track record of producing high-quality results and strategies across various industries, including telecom, hospitality, manufacturing, agricultural & commodities, industrial products, financial services, and managed services.
Prior to joining Thought Logic, Bryant worked for Accenture providing solutions that addressed complex data and analytics challenges for Fortune 500 companies. He has worked on a wide range of projects across the data strategy landscape and leading ERP and E-commerce deployments, large-scale business transformations, and strategy & new business growth development.

Steve Ferencie leads the Technology Capabilities area for Thought Logic Consulting, which includes working with clients to address their most critical Technology, Data & Analytics and Digital Transformation challenges. He is responsible for building these capabilities for Thought Logic and ensuring that these capabilities are delivered with high quality to our great clients.
Over a career spanning more than 25 years, Steve has served as a consultant, technologist, Transformational Partner, and operational General Manager to help his global clients and teams navigate through multiple transformation cycles. His expertise has been cultivated in the application of innovative technologies to challenging operational issues – as a developer in complex system implementations, a strategist leading enterprise transformations, and a practice leader building solutions and teams in the analytics, cloud and digital products areas. After previous stints at Accenture and IBM in many industries including communications, industrials and distribution, Steve has returned to Atlanta where he is an active member of the community and serves several non-profits as a board member and volunteer.

Pete Tunkey is a Client Partner with Thought Logic and brings more than 20 years of consulting and industry leadership experience. His expertise was developed working in a wide variety of sales and marketing roles at senior levels, both for, and as an advisor to the world’s leading CPG companies.
Pete brings a passion for collaboration and empowerment that enables strategic and tactical change. Along the way, he followed his entrepreneurial spirit, successfully owning and operating a chain of restaurants, honing his skills as a leader and developer of people. His recent roles involved developing and delivering broad strategy and capability to clients in CPG, Retail and Finance sectors in Europe and the Americas.

Kate is the Managing Director of the Richmond, VA office of Thought Logic. She is responsible for day-to-day operations, strategy and culture, while building upon the exciting growth in Richmond. Kate brings more than 20 years of business experience in the Virginia region; primarily focusing on how to attract and retain top talent while building a thriving culture through effective solutions. Kate’s focus is making the Richmond office of Thought Logic a destination opportunity for consultants while growing the brand and increasing our presence in the marketplace.
Prior to Thought Logic, Kate most recently served as Managing Director for OC Tanner for the Virginia, Maryland, and DC region. There she oversaw Enterprise Sales, Client Satisfaction, and Implementation of HR Technology Services for a variety of industries across the Fortune 500.

Executive Director, HR People + Strategy
Melinda Battle, Executive Director, HR People + Strategy for Thought Logic, brings more than twenty years of Human Resources experience to the firm. Her extensive background as an HR practitioner working for various sized companies, with over a decade of experience in consulting environments, allows her to offer a valuable perspective when partnering with leaders on challenges they face in an increasingly complex business landscape.
Prior to joining Thought Logic, Melinda worked at Ernst & Young for four years. Most recently, Melinda was responsible for various strategic HR initiatives for the Global Tax service line and served as a Strategic Talent Consultant for the Global Law practice. In her role on the Americas Talent Team supporting the Forensics practice, Melinda led Diversity & Inclusiveness initiatives. In this role, she developed and executed on strategies to enhance an inclusive culture to retain and promote women and under-represented minority talent.
Prior to joining EY, Melinda worked for a leading analytic data solutions company for several years. As a HR Business Partner, she led various talent processes and initiatives including change management, performance management, succession planning, and leadership development. She was also actively involved with the Business Resource Groups (BRGs) enhancing career development and promoting workplace equity.

With more than 25 years of industry and consulting experience focused on business transformation, organizational effectiveness, and change management, her expertise and leadership is consistently in high demand. Throughout her career, Maria has partnered with c-suite leaders to achieve their boldest business objectives – by reimagining strategies, target operating models and organizational capabilities, new ways of working and culture, organizational and workforce design and change management. She has delivered measurable results across a variety of industries, including automotive, communications, financial services, hospitality, healthcare and systems, insurance, consumer goods and services.
Prior to joining Thought Logic, Maria worked with Accenture and KPMG Consulting to provide quality solutions that addressed complex, highly visible business challenges for Fortune 500 companies. Maria started her career by transforming healthcare systems – through the improvement of preadmission, insurance verification, patient care protocols, billing, accounts receivables functions – as well as with insurance payors and pharmaceutical companies to improve business models and ensure regulatory compliance. In subsequent industry roles, she created and led business transformation and organizational effectiveness teams to enhance overall business unit capabilities and performance as well as strengthen functional organizations, such as sales, finance, human resources, data and analytics, and technology.
In Maria’s role with Thought Logic, she builds long-lasting, valued relationships that set the consultancy apart from the competition in the marketplace. She is focused on quality delivery of critical business initiatives, developing compelling People & Change solution offerings that drive business results, and enabling consultant engagement and professional growth through mentoring and project opportunities.

Sales Operations Leader
Brian is responsible for leading all of our practice capabilities and development of new service offerings. His responsibilities include providing strategic guidance and direction on existing capabilities as well as strategic input into new ones. He also provides insight and leadership on strategic offerings and ensuring that services provided are focused on delivering optimal value to our clients. He is currently focused on expanding capabilities, driving integrated solutions and leading innovating thinking to ensure Thought Logic’s success well into the future.
Prior to joining Thought Logic in 2014 Brian had over 25 years of experience in both industry and consulting with an emphasis on Finance Transformation. During his time at IBM, Deloitte and Accenture he led global initiatives for many Fortune 500 companies. Prior to that, he managed FP&A and reporting functions for various companies.
In addition to his day-to-day responsibilities, Brian is heavily involved in consulting engagement and other internal initiatives.

Keith Roberts is the Managing Partner and founder of Thought Logic Consulting. Keith brings more than 20 years of business consulting and advisory services to the firm and to our clients. He has advised Fortune 500 clients in overall business transformation, merger integration, organizational change and operations management. Prior to starting Thought Logic, Keith started his consulting career working for the original Price Waterhouse/PricewaterhouseCoopers and then IBM Global Business Services via the acquisition of PwC , where he was a Partner in the Media and Entertainment Sector, delivering large scale transformations for clients. In addition, he formed and ran a national finance transformation practice for Slalom Consulting, which had practitioners across seven offices. Keith is focused on creating a culture at Thought Logic that consultants want to call home, one that allows them to focus on true business consulting but still allows them to meet their own personal and professional goals.

Engagement and Operations Lead
As one of the longest tenured employees at Thought Logic, Leigh is excited to continue to support the Company in her current role as the Engagement and Operations Lead. In this role, Leigh’s primary responsibilities are to drive consultant engagement and satisfaction, ensure appropriate staffing alignment across Thought Logic’s portfolio of projects, and lead internal optimization efforts. Leigh works closely with all employees to encourage participation in strategic company growth and internal improvement initiatives as well as to better understand how consultants’ professional passions and client needs can align to add value for all.
Prior to joining Thought Logic in 2015, Leigh spent the first 10 years of her career in professional services with an emphasis on Accounting and Finance Transformation. At Ernst & Young she played an integral role on the audit teams for several high-profile Fortune 500 clients. From there, Leigh made the transition to management consulting by joining Keith Roberts’ CFO Advisory Practice at Slalom Consulting where she proved valuable in growing and developing that practice in the Atlanta market.

Steve Esmonde is a Managing Partner with Thought Logic and is responsible for the growth of the Atlanta office. He is responsible for building and growing a successful sales and consultant team in Atlanta with a key focus on developing meaningful relationships with our people and clients, while leading our teams to deliver high-quality work. He is passionate about developing and challenging our Thought Logic team to grow within the firm, while creating a work environment that encourages curiosity and innovation. Steve is an experienced strategy partner known for helping senior business leaders, across a wide variety of industries and verticals, execute their most critical initiatives.

As a Business Development Executive, Bobby Connor brings more than 12 years of Fortune 500 enterprise sales experience to the team. Bobby is responsible for driving new and emerging client partnerships in the Atlanta market. His focus is on building successful client relationships that allow Thought Logic to deliver high-value strategic solutions to its’ clients.
In previous experience, Bobby most recently oversaw sales and operations for multiple markets at an IT services company. He was responsible for full development and execution of successful product strategies, account business plans, revenue growth, and sales team development.

Mark Knauss, Client Partner for Thought Logic, helps Thought Logic support the evolving needs of their clients by ensuring overall engagement delivery, people development, and solutioning to support his clients’ strategic opportunities across all of Thought Logic’s capabilities and expertise. Mark brings global consulting experience from EY and McKinsey to the firm. Mark earned his MBA from the University of Florida and has been in the consulting world ever since. Mark brings a unique blend of technology expertise, functional business acumen, and empathy on his client’s priorities to ensure Thought Logic’s approach is aligned to the true business need, leverages market capabilities and knowledge, and aligns to Thought Logic’s high standards of delivery.
Before shifting to his role as Client Partner, Mark managed and delivered a broad spectrum of projects as both the Integrated Solutions Leader for Thought Logic’s capabilities and a Solutions Manager across the Data Strategy landscape. Mark’s knowledge of market-leading data and technology practices, functional expertise, and ability to partner with senior executives allows him to help clients bridge the gap between technology and business priorities to unlock enhanced value.

Mark Knauss, Client Bob is the Capability Leader for Digital Transformation at Thought Logic, where he helps customers navigate changing business environments caused by disruptive technology forces. As a multi-dimensional transformational technology leader with over thirty years of experience, Bob is known for his ability to innovate operating models and unlock business value outcomes and market opportunities through the strategic use of digital technologies and information.
Bob’s seasoned and pragmatic perspective is based on his extensive experience in technology leadership roles, including decades at big 4 professional service firms where he advised business and technology leaders across various Fortune 500 companies. Before joining Thought Logic, Bob served as the Chief Technology Officer at a global software company and spent nearly 15 years at KPMG LLP.
Outside of work, Bob enjoys spending time with his family, which includes his wife, four children, and grandchildren. He has been a resident of Atlanta since 1995.

Solution Director, Healthcare
Sohum Mehta is the Healthcare Solutions Lead at Thought Logic. He has over 15 years of experience leading healthcare organizations through people-centric transformation engagements that enhance operational efficiencies and overall customer market reach. He is passionate about using technology to improve the delivery of healthcare and has a proven track record of success in developing and executing go-to-market strategies.
In his current role, Sohum is responsible for leading Thought Logic’s efforts to land new healthcare customers. He has a deep understanding of the healthcare market and can quickly identify and address the needs of potential customers.
Prior to joining Thought Logic, Sohum developed his expertise through the consulting ranks, as well as in industry-specific roles. He has led operations within a telemedicine startup and served as an assistant administrator in a multi-hospital health system. In his consulting experience, he has managed complex, high-impact business and strategy engagements, including business development, resource allocation and planning, revenue growth, patient experience optimization, and technology improvements and implementations.
Sohum earned his Master of Health Administration from Virginia Commonwealth University’s Medical College of Virginia and his Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from the University of Georgia.

John is the Supply Chain Capability Leader at Thought Logic, bringing over 23 years of domestic and international professional experience for Fortune and Global 500 companies. His proven track record in executing strategies solves complex problems through innovative solutions while minimizing risks and managing costs to deliver sustainable results. John takes a client-first approach to creating tangible value that translates into measurable ROI. John learned early on that a project was not a complete success if the client did not serve as a reference.
Before joining Thought Logic, John worked for global consultancies and in industry. While consulting, John served the Supply Chain practice as North America’s Strategic Sourcing Capability leader and was the Consulting lead for the Connected Services COE. During this time, John was influential in building cohesion across the global consultancy to drive delivery quality through consistency coupled with leveraging a portfolio of services in an integrated solution set. Later in his career, he was instrumental in maturing consulting offers in the Manufacturing practice before building and leading a new Procurement Capability. Prior to consulting, John worked in industry for a Fortune 50 company, leading a broad range of capital budget project analyses and supply chain process improvement strategic initiatives.
John will complete his Master of Supply Chain Management from Penn State this year. As a native of Kansas City, John earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from Baker University and an MBA from MidAmerica Nazarene University. He is also a Certified Purchasing Manager (C.P.M.) through Institute for Supply Management (ISM). Today, John is proud to call Atlanta, GA home, where he resides with his family, which includes their two rescued hound dogs.
